Graduating from the University of Queensland in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts (Government and Economics) and from Bond University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), William has been with Budd & Piper since January 1997, first as an articled clerk, under the supervision of Derek Budd, then as a solicitor following his admission to the Supreme Court of NSW, and Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 1999.
Since joining the firm William has practiced in a broad range of legal matters.
He now practices mainly in the areas of wills and estates, powers of attorney, and guardianship, commercial and cottage conveyancing, leasing and business law.
William comes from a farming family with a long association with the Tweed Valley. He resides at Murwillumbah.
